Mature Beech Crane Removal Wirral
Share
The team were out at Caldy Manor care home removing a mature Beech from one of the neighbouring properties. The tree had Ganoderma brackets present between almost all of the buttress roots which had caused a vast amount of internal decay. Due to the close proximity to the care home, removal was unfortunately the only option for this grand old tree. In order to get the works carried out in a safe and efficient manner whilst causing minimal disruption, we called in the help of Danny Lawlor and his 55ton crane. Our climbers skillfully hooked up and severed large sections of the crown allowing Lee the crane operator to gently lift and safely place the pieces for breaking down in the carpark. The tree was removed and tidy up completed, all in under 7 hours. Big thanks to Danny and Lee for the crane, Rich and Andy for top climbing work and Rob for his timber shifting capabilities 👍
